From Lauri: "Is there an Alpha School option for homeschoolers?”
What if you could have the academic rigor of Alpha School in the freedom of your own kitchen?
You can!
Alpha Anywhere is a personalized, mastery-based, at-home learning program. It’s the same exact learning platform that Alpha Schools use across the country. Personalized curriculum. AI-powered. Two hours a day.
Honestly, this is a game-changer for homeschooling families. Homeschool parents usually trade time and effort for freedom. You get ownership, but you also shoulder the burden: amalgamating curriculum, stitching together resources, losing sleep to research, and ultimately, wearing 47 hats at once. If you’ve ever stayed up past midnight trying to cobble together a math lesson from three different websites, or worried you weren’t giving your kid the “right” foundation because you’re “not a real teacher,” then this is your goldmine.
Alpha Anywhere is the only version of two-hour learning that isn’t a physical school. Two hours a day, on your laptop, in your home. All the academic muscle of Alpha School — mastery-based and personalized — but without the carpool to a brick-and-mortar campus.
It gives families another option: the rigor and structure of a high-caliber education without the limitations of zip code or the stress of creating your own curriculum from scratch.
To clarify: some parents wonder if Alpha Anywhere is more like a supplement or add-on to your kid’s learning. (“We do regular school plus Alpha Anywhere!”) Nope. It’s dubbed “a total school replacement” for a reason. It acts as a standalone education for your child, covering everything they’d be learning in Common Core.
And yes, Alpha Anywhere matches the academic performance of Alpha Schools. As of May, Alpha homeschool students delivered 2.3x academic growth — the same results as our best campuses. So, it’s not some “watered-down” version of Alpha School. It’s the same platform. Walk into any Alpha School and you’ll recognize the learning apps that your family uses at the kitchen table.
For instance, the second student to ever use Alpha Anywhere came in struggling with dyslexia and behind in reading. Within a year, he jumped three grade levels ahead. What changed? His mom no longer had to stress over creating personalized curriculum. That part was taken care of. All she had to do was motivate and emotionally support him.
Which leads me to my next point: Alpha Anywhere is software. They don’t do admissions or immunization forms or medical records. They’re a platform, not an institution. Parents remain the responsible party. This is why Alpha Anywhere requires a 45-minute phone call with parents who are interested in using the software. You can’t just download it from their website. They don't want “more users” — they want to ensure it’s the perfect fit for your family.
Finally, Alpha Anywhere doesn’t offer motivational or socialization features — yet. Right now, their enrollment is temporarily paused for this reason. (Roughly for a month or so.) They’re building out features for coaching, socialization, and motivation. The platform is already strong academically, and soon, it will be strong socially and motivationally, too. (Don’t worry — I’ll keep you posted!)
You can still book a call with them to learn more and get on the waitlist.
For all you homeschooling parents out there who want the academic rigor of Alpha School in the freedom of your own kitchen — who knows?
Alpha Anywhere may be your perfect fit.
What do you think? Would you try Alpha Anywhere?
Amazing news for homeschool families. Congrats!
I founded a hybrid school for homeschooling families, and this would be a game-changer. I have some scholars who are light years ahead of their age, and others with learning challenges who need the personalized support — and they all should sit in the same “standard classroom.” Parents want to be equipped, and this meets that need. My question is can parents personalize the curriculum, specifically literature, that is a part of the Alpha Anywhere platform?
